Parking Lot Line Painting and Striping Services
We Help You Manage Your Traffic
Parking lot painting (also known as line striping, pavement marking, or pavement striping) – provides drivers with the exact information they need to guide and position their vehicles on your parking lot. These lot markings need to be clear so that anyone entering your property can do so safely and efficiently.
We work with the Property Owner or Manager to get the optimum use out of the parking area. As an added service, if it is required by your area we will also contact the local building department to make sure we are compliant with zoning and building code regulations.
Code-Compliant Parking Lot Line Painting
You Have One Chance To Get It Right
All Manitoba parking spaces are a specific size; most are 9 feet by 18 feet or 20 feet. Some areas that have a one-way traffic pattern require the spaces to be on an angle such as 45 or 60 degrees. Depending on your lot and zoning requirements, some parking areas even have a designation for compact cars. It is also important to note that when planning your parking space, most, if not all parking lots are required to have at least one handicap space and depending on local municipal codes, the property might be required to have multiple handicap spaces.
Whether it’s a restripe or a new layout we can assist with a plan that is beneficial to the property and traffic flow. D&M Land Services offers the following:
♦ New Layouts
♦ Crosswalks
♦ Loading Zone Markings
♦ Stop Bars
♦ Marked Pick Up Areas
♦ Mailbox Zones
♦ Directional Arrows
Quality Costs Less In The Long Run
Contrary to popular belief, going higher end actually saves you money!
The first priority of D&M Land Services is product quality. We only use parking lot line paint from national manufactures and the latest state-of-the-art striping equipment to get the job done efficiently. Longer-lasting quality paints means much more time between servicing, so you don’t have to have us back soon!
Using environmentally-friendly materials is also a priority for us. In an effort to stay Green, we only use low VOC zone marking or traffic marking paint.
Preparation of the areas to be striped often includes parking lot sweeping using a power blower or broom truck to remove debris, and often a pressure wash as well if there are oily areas.
We recommend that newly striped areas should stay free of traffic for at least a full hour for the paint to dry properly.
